wavejockglw
I have been reading the forum with interest about the headphone level capping of this recorder due to EU regulations. I believe Sony have set it at 3V but in markets outwith the EU it has an output of 5V.I have been tring to find some simple instructions that would enable the device to operate at the higher output level as I want to use some good quality Sony headphones that are less efficient than those normally supplied wsith the MZ-NH600. Some of the information on the service menu has been interesting and whilst i have been able to access it I have not yet been able to make any adjustments to achieve the above.Does anyone have any information on how the above can be achieved? If you do (and I'd be really glad of the help) could you post instructions in a step by step sequence. Now that this recorder is less than £80 in the UK I suspect this information will be of great interest to the increasing numbers now choosing it rather than MP3 players. Thanks in anticipation.
